AISI 631 - 17-7PH

17-7PH is a precipitation-hardened stainless steel with high strength and good corrosion resistance. It is the most formable of all PH grades and features a unique blend of Chromium, Nickel, and Aluminum for superior strength and hardness. Ideal for applications requiring high performance, 17-7PH is perfect for aerospace and other applications.

Essential details

17-7PH is a high strength, heat treatable stainless steel. Its excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance, and minimum distortion upon heat treatment make it a valuable material for aerospace applications. It's also ideal for flat springs in temperatures up to 600°F (316°C).
