AISI 410 - EN 1.4006 is a martensitic stainless steel that provides excellent resistance to corrosion in non-chloride containing media, including organic acids, soaps, and solvents. For maximum protection, it is best to have a polished surface.

Essential details

AISI 410 - EN 1.4006 stainless steel is corrosion-resistant martensitic steel. Compared to a lot of other steel, the 1.4006 grade has lower carbon content. For the same reason, it exhibits good resistance to corrosion. This grade of stainless steel is supplied in the form of a bar and is not resistant to salts and sulfur compounds.
