1.4429 is a stainless austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel with nitrogen addition. It is used in the pharmaceutical industry, in the chemical industry and in the petrochemical industry.

1.4429 is popularly known as AISI 316LN. This material has very good corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and is weldable.
