Nimonic C-263 is an age-hardening Nickel-Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum alloy engineered to offer both high strength and outstanding fabrication performance. This alloy exhibits remarkable tensile ductili
Nimonic C263 is a nickel-based heat resistant superalloy (HRSA) material with a machinability rating of 18% and hardness of 28 HRC.
It is among the hardest of the nickel-based alloys, and accordingly has poor machinability of only 18%.
Alloy C263 has high strength up to 816˚C and excellent oxidation resistance up to 982˚C. The alloy has good formability, ductility, and weldability. In the annealed condition, this alloy has excellent ductility and can easily be formed by cold working.
Applications:
- Rings for gas turbine
- Low-temperature combustors
- Transition liners
- Engine casings
