Nickel 201 is commonly used in pressure vessel service. which are containers that carry gases or liquids at a pressurethat is much higher than the ambient pressure. The ASME Boler and Pressure Vessel Code Section Vl-Division l hasapproved it for this use up to 1250°F (about 677°C).
